About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Strategic Sourcing. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for the identification, design, and implementation of third-party vendor solutions that align with the company's strategic priorities. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, bringing innovative solutions and market insights to enhance customer outcomes and drive competitive advantage. The Managing Director will also be a people leader, with full management responsibility for a team, and will be expected to lead cross-functional teams, develop category strategies, and ensure the execution of initiatives that create value and reduce risk. Candidates for this role should have a clear vision for their career and be ready to contribute to a culture that values the abilities of all employees. The position requires a senior-level professional with a minimum of ten years of related work experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing and contracting, with seasoned supplier and stakeholder influence and negotiation skills. They should be results-driven, with the ability to develop and drive both tactical and long-term strategies, and have excellent project management, negotiation, and change management skills.
