Certified Automotive Service TechnicianDon Mealey Sport Subaru, now in our new state-of-the-art facility, is looking for a Certified Automotive Service Technician who will play an active role in the service department.At Don Mealey Sport Subaru we strive to make every customer a customer for life. Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our dealership through the years.Responsibilities:Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Document work performed.Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations.Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.Qualifications:2+ years of Service Technician experience required.ASE Certification required.Used car experience preferred.Subaru experience preferred.Excellent CSIAmbitious, hardworking presence in a team environment.Excellent customer service skills.Basic computer skills.Positive, friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality.Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.Ability to collaborate effectively.Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.Clean driving record and valid driver's license.Benefits:Medical, Dental, VisionLife Insurance401K with company matchSupplemental InsurancePaid VacationPaid TrainingCompany HolidaysSaturday LunchesEmployee discounts on Products and Services
