About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join its executive leadership team. The CNO will be responsible for the strategic, operational, financial, and clinical oversight of nursing and ancillary services within the organization's rehabilitation hospital. This includes establishing a vision for nursing practice, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, and ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement. The role is highly visible and involves direct accountability for clinical outcomes, patient experience, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven nursing executive with a proven track record in leading clinical operations in specialized care environments, and must be comfortable operating at the C-suite level while remaining connected to frontline clinical teams. Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have a master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, and at least five years of progressive senior nursing leadership experience. CCRN certification is preferred. The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior executive team, with a focus on workforce development and a commitment to the organization's mission of restoring hope and independence to individuals in need of rehabilitation care. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage a large and diverse team, including Directors of Inpatient Nursing, Respiratory Care, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Clinical Lab Services, and who is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient care.
