CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Job Overview Job Title: CNC Machinist Pay Rate Range: $22.00–$37.00/Hour Location: Shakopee, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM Position Type: Temp to Hire Qualifications Dependability Ability to set up, offset, perform tool changes, and inspect equipment Willingness to learn, train, and grow skills Willingness to help other departments if needed Experience with deburring, grinding, buffering, etc. Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Basic computer skills Goes the extra mile Lifting 15-20lbs frequently and up to 35lbs on occasion (team lifts or assisted lifting available) Must be willing to stand when working at jobs that do not allow you to sit Responsibilities Set up, offset, perform tool changes, and inspect equipment Operate the CNC machine Assist with secondary tasks such as deburring, grinding, buffering, etc. Help in other areas as needed Benefits May be eligible for 5 paid holidays May accrue up to 48 hours of paid sick time per year 401k with company match after 1 year of employment Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
