Scrum Master - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for an Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a multi-year project to replace a third-party risk application. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading Agile ceremonies, managing the Jira board, and removing impediments for the technical team to ensure the successful implementation of the new vendor solution. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiating skills and a calm, focused demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
• Identify improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk
• Track and communicate overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders
• Serve as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team
• Protect the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on priorities

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Proven experience with Agile methodology and the Scrum framework
• Proficiency with Jira
• Scrum Ceremonies
• Backlog Management
• Continuous Improvement
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Program Administration

Desired skills:

• Background in Software Testing or Software Development environments
• Scrum Master certification

Pay range: $53.13 - $61.13 per hour
