Application Support Analyst | Production Services | Experienced Hire

OverviewSusquehanna is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to work on our Proprietary Trading Services team. You will be joining a group focusing on the support and technical operations of our core trading systems. This team is responsible for all aspects of server side application support: job scheduling, troubleshooting issues, intraday restarts, tactical response to production issues, deploying change and working directly with our developer and engineering teams. In this role you willProvide daily support of proprietary trading systems that our crucial to our businessCoordinate, implement and support daily system level changes, in a Windows and Linux environmentTroubleshoot trading related issues by investigating client/server log filesPerform server side application support, job scheduling, and basic scriptingCoordinate technical resources and communicate to both business and technology communities during production issuesWhat we’re looking forMinimum 1-3 years of experience in an application support, operations, systems administration, or related role requiredAbility to independently identify problems and develop solutions requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAn understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux) is requiredFoundational knowledge of Powershell, Python, or Bash scriptingPrevious experience within a financial services or trading environment is a plusBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferredVisa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.About SusquehannaSusquehanna is a global quantitative trading firm powered by scientific rigor, curiosity, and innovation.
