Our client in West Houston is a fast-growing healthcare & medical device manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting operations, own the month-end close, and help scale finance processes. This role reports directly to the CFO, manages a team of three, and offers a clear path to Controller . The role is working a hybrid schedule remote on Friday. Salary up to $85-93K depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end close (target BD7) , financial reporting, and variance analysis

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash management

• Oversee AP, AR, payroll entries, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets

• Manage inventory accounting across four locations in NetSuite

• Lead, review, and develop a 3-person accounting team

• Drive process improvements, automation, SOP creation, and internal controls

• Maintain weekly cash forecasting and liquidity planning

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting 
• CPA REQUIRED

• 5–7+ years progressive accounting experience

• Strong NetSuite experience (inventory/manufacturing strongly preferred)

• Proven ownership of month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

• Advanced Excel skills

• Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail
