We Are Hiring Location: Nashville TN Facility: Howell Allen / Ascension Medical Group Schedule : Full time Specialty: Neurosurgery NP/PA CME allowance + dedicated CME days Malpractice coverage with tail What You Will Do This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated APP to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team as a 1:1 APP Call structure: None Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Full time: M - F 7A - 5P Physician support with Surgery and patient follow up Spinal Surgery experience preferred Experience in both an inpatient and outpatient environment needed This is for a dedicated APP to work with a single surgeon Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and retirement Responsibilities: Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician. Obtain patient history and perform assessment. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures. Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions. Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
