About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to serve as a senior accounting leader with a focus on technical accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, maintaining strong internal controls, and delivering timely and accurate financial statements. This role involves leading and managing multiple accounting teams, overseeing the financial close and reporting processes, and ensuring operational accounting oversight. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be involved in planning and forecasting, process improvement, and systems enhancement, and will support special projects as directed by senior management. Candidates for the Vice President, Corporate Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-6 years of progressive accounting leadership experience. A CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred. The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities, as well as exceptional communication skills and a deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting, ERP, and property management systems is essential, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is a must. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a complex, multi-entity accounting organization and will be adept at supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
