Brand Marketing Specialist II

Introduction to Position We are a healthcare-focused digital product consultancy seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist to join our Growth team. This role is crucial in elevating our brand presence through events and other brand activations, creating compelling promotional materials, and fostering client relationships through various initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote and grow our brand, including crafting messaging for giveaways, branding initiatives, and promotional products. Own and execute Modea’s participation in two annual conferences, including coordinating with vendors and conference organizers, writing speaking proposals, designing and facilitating booth giveaways, and planning elevated private events. Execute proprietary research to inform thought leadership and promotional content. Produce in-depth, promotional white papers based on proprietary research with the goal of generating new leads and engagement. Create various marketing and sales enablement collateral. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Specialist on strategies to promote and disseminate content to the right audiences and measure content effectiveness. Plan and execute webinars through conference sponsorship and other industry channels. Plan and execute client roundtables on relevant industry topics. Manage all client communications before and after roundtables. Design and curate gifts for clients and prospective clients. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in brand marketing, event planning, and sales enablement. Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably within scope of this position. Critical Competencies Communication skills: Excellent verbal and (especially) written communication skills. This will be crucial for both content production and interacting with team members, clients, and industry professionals. Event planning: Strong organizational skills to plan and execute successful conferences, private events, and client roundtables. Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to ensure high-quality output across all marketing materials and initiatives. Content creation: Expertise in creating various types of content, including case studies, whitepapers, and promotional materials. Creativity: Innovative thinking to develop unique branding ideas, gift packages, and promotional materials. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various teams, including design, analytics, and digital marketing. Analytical thinking: Skilled in measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and making data-driven recommendations. Adaptability: Flexibility to manage diverse tasks and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and industry trends. Time management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field 3+ years of experience in brand, content, or event marketing Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing initiatives Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content for various formats Experience in event planning and management Proficiency in project management and ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Work Environment Modeans are able to work at any location in Virginia, Tennessee, or North Carolina, unless otherwise required by job responsibilities. Our home office is located in Blacksburg, VA. The office provides an indoor space with moderate temperatures and noise levels. This allows employees to choose a fully-office, fully-remote, or hybrid work experience. Employees may occasionally need to travel to our office or other locations for training or client visits, and we provide the necessary tools to work at home as well as in the office. Physical Demands The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position throughout the workday, continually operate a computer, converse with and exchange information to clients and coworkers both in person and through a computer, and occasionally transport items of 10 lbs or less to and from the office.
