Bookkeeper Assistant - Japanese Bilingual

Position Summary We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual accounting professional to support daily accounting operations. This position is open to candidates ranging from Bookkeeper Assistant, Bookkeeper, to Accountant level , depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with basic bookkeeping/accounting knowledge, experience handling accounting transactions, and strong Excel skills are highly encouraged to apply. Pay Rate: Approximately $20–32+/hour DOE (Depending on Experience) Onsite position only (Monday–Friday). Location: Addison, TX Key Responsibilities Process invoices, vendor bills, and payments Maintain AP/AR records Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing Review and maintain accounting records and financial data Assist with wire payments and transaction documentation Support BS/PL review and account reconciliations Perform data entry and general administrative tasks Additional accounting responsibilities may be assigned based on experience level Requirements Japanese-English bilingual (business level preferred) Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles Understanding of journal entries, Balance Sheet (BS), and Profit & Loss (PL) Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.) 1+ year of QuickBooks experience or Nissho Boki Level 3+ with bookkeeping experience Preferred Qualifications AP/AR experience Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related work experience Experience supporting Japanese companies or Japanese-speaking stakeholders Candidates with Bookkeeper or Accountant-level experience are welcome Schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Onsite only #J-18808-Ljbffr
