About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, operationalizing the organization, and guiding its innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for both strategic leadership and the day-to-day management of the organization, with a focus on growing its annual retreat and building a convening series. This role is particularly suited to a builder, as the Executive Director will be tasked with turning the current initiatives into a durable institution, owning the program, community, team, partnerships, and strategy for the next decade. The ideal Executive Director for the company will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in fundraising, program development, and community engagement. While the role is open to candidates from anywhere in the United States, a regular presence in Austin, Texas is essential. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to convene a diverse group of leaders, including policymakers, scientists, investors, journalists, and military leaders, in a setting designed for candid and action-oriented problem-solving.
