busy Broward County consumer rights law firm is hiring a Junior Consumer Defense Litigation Associate. Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation, review, and approval of all case pleadings.

Handle all aspects of litigation including filing pleadings, discovery, and motions.

Attendance at motion calendar hearings, mediations, conciliation conferences, depositions, and non-jury trials.

Provide clients with updates and meet with clients to discuss their case.

Other duties and special litigation projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate -Member in good standing of the Florida Bar. General Competency Factors:

Must have critical “out of the box” thinking and problem-solving skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment

Ability to multitask & prioritize tasks • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills & effectively communicates with clients

Provide exceptional customer service

Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary

Must be technologically savvy, very comfortable using process management systems, fully and effectively utilize available technology and automation.
