Private Equity VP, Industrials

Job Description
A growing lower middle-market private equity firm is looking to hire a Vice President to join its investment team in New York. The firm has a strong track record and an established focus on Industrial and Manufacturing businesses . The team is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced investor who can step in and take meaningful ownership across the investment process.
\n \nThe Role:
\n- \n
- Work across sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management \n
- Evaluate lower middle-market opportunities across Industrial & Manufacturing \n
- Work closely with senior members of the investment team \n
- Take meaningful ownership of transactions and investment decisions \n
- Join a lean, entrepreneurial team with significant capital to deploy \n
The Ideal Candidate:
\n- \n
- Investment banking + private equity background \n
- Strong M&A and transaction experience \n
- Current VP or Senior Associate ready to step into a VP role \n
- Experience investing in Industrial, Manufacturing or related sectors \n
- Candidates from larger-cap PE platforms looking for more ownership and impact in the lower middle market are encouraged to apply \n
- Strong investment banking candidates may also be considered \n
- NYC preferred; relocation possible for the right candidate \n
- US work authorization required \n
