Step Down Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) Facility Type: Acute Care Pay Rate: $57-64/hr Minimum of 2-years experience as an SDU Registered Nurse (RN) required. Requirements Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing. Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code). Current ACLS certification. Current NIHSS may be required prior to first shift. Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as an SDU RN within the last year. Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes. Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses. Strong familiarity with titration of common drips following facility protocols, and current ACLS guidelines. Strong experience with managing cardiac, stroke, and other complex/higher acuity patients.
