Customer Master Data Analyst

The Analyst, Customer Master Data, is a member of the Order to Cash Master Data Center of Excellence within Finance Hub, supporting the North America Operating Unit Foodservice and On-Premise organization. The role coordinates the delivery of customer master data services for assigned customer portfolios and helps simplify the work performed by Sales and Customer Operations.

This role manages customer master data requests from intake through completion, including request preparation, documentation validation, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, status communication, and operational follow-through. The role works closely with Sales, Customer Operations, Finance Hub OTC, Master Data Operations, Master Data Governance, Product Model, and other partners.

The successful candidate combines solid customer service, operational judgment, problem solving, and relationship-building capabilities. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience managing request intake, prioritization, documentation quality, issue follow-up, and service delivery across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to understand customer and business impacts and translate them into clear operational requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate status, risks, decisions, and required actions clearly.
• Experience developing or improving procedures, controls, job aids, performance measures, or continuous-improvement plans.
• Familiarity with SAP MDG, BRIM, customer hierarchy structures, customer reimbursement processes, or related customer data workflows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer master data requests for assigned Foodservice and On-Premise customer portfolios.
• Prepare and submit customer master data requests supporting customer creation, maintenance, and organizational structure changes.
• Coordinate requests requiring action across multiple teams or systems and ensure requests progress from intake through processing, validation, syndication, and completion.
• Validate that request documentation is complete, accurate, consistent, and ready for submission to the responsible processing team.
• Monitor operational queues and identify volume, capacity, aging, or timing risks requiring escalation or reprioritization.
• Coordinate customer master data requests with Customer Financial Support, Master Data Operations, Master Data Governance, Finance Hub OTC, NAOU Finance, Product Model, Digital teams, and other partners.
• Provide Sales, Account Coordinators, Customer Operations, Finance, and other requestors with timely updates on request status, delays, clarification needs, and completion.
• Monitor request volumes, cycle times, quality, aging, rejection rates, completion performance, and recurring operational issues.
• Provide operational visibility and insights regarding workload, open requests, business impacts, and service-delivery risks.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures, reference materials, checklists, job aids, training materials, and communication templates.
