North American Fleet Coordinator

Role Overview

Genus plc has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for an Americas Fleet Coordinator to join our global team. The Fleet Coordinator has primary accountability for overseeing fleet operations across the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships, owning and managing fleet provision, and ensuring the efficient operation of fleet services. With a fleet budget of approximately $10 million per annum, the Fleet Coordinator will play a crucial role in driving sustainability initiatives, implementing best practices, and maintaining comprehensive reporting, policies, and procedures. The preferred location for this position is Deforest, WI or Hendersonville, TN.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

You Will

1. Own and manage fleet provision, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
2. Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality of service and cost-effectiveness.
3. Ensure 365-day support to the Technician and Salesperson population in relation to fleet issues.
4. Monitor and manage the fleet budget of $10 million per annum, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
5. Drive sustainability initiatives within fleet operations, focusing on reducing environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly practices.
6. Influence, support, and report on Health & Safety related to fleet and travel operations.
7. Implement and maintain policies and procedures that reflect industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
8. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on fleet performance, sustainability metrics, Health & Safety, and cost analysis.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align fleet operations with organizational goals and objectives.
10. Undertake other duties as required.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field (ideal but not mandatory)
• Proven experience in fleet management and supplier relationship management
• Experience in managing a fleet budget of $10 million or more, particularly focusing on reducing maintenance costs and maximizing asset value at the end of lease
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and reporting skills
• Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance regulations
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a large budget and optimize resource allocation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of sustainability practices and environmental impact reduction
• Certification in fleet management or related field
• Ideally able to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Experience working in other business operational areas would be useful
• Experience in rolling out software solutions in the Fleet area
