This role involves developing and implementing effective bid strategies, ensuring that all proposals are tailored to meet client needs and align with the company's objectives.The Bid Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with branch and practice leadership, producers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions for business challenges and process improvements. They will work closely with the Senor Bid Managers to align on divisional strategies and ensure that all initiatives are executed effectively.How you'll make an impactProposal Development and Project Management:Own and manage complex draft documents and a high volume of projects autonomously, ensuring high-quality work productsDevelop complex and strategic sales collateral that is well-written, accurate, consistent, in brand, and responsive, reflecting customer-specific themesCollaborate with other team members to gather necessary information and insights for project development Develop project timelines Modify standard content to best respond to questions and ensure compliance with project and RFP requirements Review and edit proposal content for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet tight deadlines Collaborate with other teams, when needed, to create visually appealing and professional proposal documents Assemble appendix items and supporting documents for RFPs Create and revise Gallagher branded PowerPoint presentations to support proposal development and sales strategiesConsult with producers to recommend appropriate products and tools that align with client needs and proposal requirements Maintain a friendly, get-it-done attitude to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment Build and maintain strong relationships with branch partners, serving as a trusted, approachable point of contactProvide helpful, solution-focused support while reinforcing team processes, standards, and boundariesContent Development and Management:Identify content for graphic development to submit to the Creative Team Provide updated proposal responses for inclusion in the RFP databaseIdentify and contact Subject Matter Experts to gather accurate information for proposals, when needed Other duties, as assignedAbout You3+ years of insurance industry and proposal development experience, with employee benefits experience preferred Superior writing and editing skills, with excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset Advanced knowledge of proposal processes and proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proposal software experience preferred Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams to develop customer-specific proposal strategies Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously#LI-AV1Compensation and benefitsAt Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
