- Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
- Job Location: Moses Lake, WA 98837
- Contract Duration: 13 week contract
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Travel Pay Package:
- Gross Weekly: $3,350.20/week ($58.45/hr W2 + $1,246.00/week travel stipend)
- Overtime : $95/hr. on W2
- Call-back: $95.00/hr. on W2
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum , and immediate newborn care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and clinical assessment tools.
- ssist physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections .
- dminister medications, IV fluids, blood products, and epidural care as ordered.
- Educate patients and families on labor process, pain management options, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery .
- Identify and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies such as fetal distress, hemorrhage, preeclampsia, and shoulder dystocia.
- Perform accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) .
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and postpartum staff.
Job Requirements
- Active Washington State RN License (or compact license eligible for WA).
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (travel assignments may require more).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Required or preferred.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification - Required.
