Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Completion of a state‑approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

• Strong patience, empathy, and compassion

• Excellent communication and observation skills

• Basic computer and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

As a Restorative CNA, you will:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Serve meals and assist residents with eating and drinking as needed

• Reposition and turn bedridden residents and assist with ambulation or wheelchair transport

• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident rooms; change bed linens and bedpans as needed

• Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and daily observations

• Monitor residents’ behavior, mood, and general condition, reporting significant changes to nursing staff

• Transport medical equipment as required
