Application Developer II

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define integration strategies and implementation plans, including project timelines.Design, build, and maintain integrations between various platforms and applications to enable efficient data flow and interoperability.Develop and manage scalable APIs to support communication between internal and external systems.Create automation scripts and routines to enhance integration processes and operational efficiency.Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and ensure alignment with integration goals.Document integration workflows, configurations, and best practices for future reference and compliance.Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve integration capabilities.Assess existing COBOL-based systems and identify opportunities for modernization.Refactor legacy COBOL code to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability using modern programming languages such as C# or Python.Minimum QualificationsEducation & experience will be considered: Bachelors degree preferred.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.js.Familiarity with modern integration frameworks and API development.Experience with COBOL modernization and migration to contemporary languages.
