Position Overview

We are searching for a talented and kindhearted Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our imaging team, delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Facilitate a comforting environment for patients throughout the procedures by clearly articulating the process and showing empathy
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
• Accurately document procedures and uphold patient records using the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements within ultrasound technology and adherence to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Excellent technical skills in sonographic imaging and proficient patient positioning
• Strong communication ability and interpersonal skills
