Podiatry Medical Assistant

Description We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history Assist the physician with examinations and in-office procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Apply and remove dressings, assist with wound care, and provide patient education Perform EMR documentation accurately and efficiently Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up Verify medications and update patient records Maintain inventory and stock exam rooms Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required Previous experience in a medical office preferred (podiatry, orthopedic, or surgical experience is a plus) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR - eCW) Reliable, professional, and compassionate with patients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule Full-time Monday - Friday Day shift Possible 1 Saturday a month Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid time off Paid holidays Health insurance (if applicable) Retirement plan/401(k) (if applicable) Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive and team-oriented work environment Why Join Us?
