IT Asset Management Analyst

IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst Reno, NV/ Onsite Job Summary The Epic SME will locate, extract, analyze, and document rule-based and decisioning artifacts across Epic (rules, decision trees, decision tables, conditional logic, calculated elements, and dependencies) to support governance, testing, integration, and migration efforts. The role requires deep Epic functional and technical knowledge, strong data-mapping and SQL skills, and experience producing traceable, auditable rule inventories and dependency maps. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and update the inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, software licenses). • Track the complete asset lifecycle—from procurement and deployment to maintenance, retirement, and disposal.

• Perform regular audits and reconcile physical assets with inventory records.
• Ensure software license compliance and support vendor audits.
• Monitor asset utilization and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT support teams for asset

purchases, allocations, and returns. • Generate reports and dashboards on asset inventory, compliance, and asset utilization.

• Ensure adherence to IT security and asset management policies.
• Maintain asset documentation, contracts, warranties, and renewal records.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by allocating and

recovering IT assets. Qualifications • Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM) • Understanding of software licensing and compliance • Experience with tools such as: 1

• ServiceNow ITAM
• Flexera
• SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager
• SNOW Software
• Freshservice
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and asset management databases
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Evaluation Criteria • Ability to manage end-to-end asset lifecycle (procurement → deployment → retirement)

• Accuracy in asset tracking, tagging, and inventory control
• Strong skills in data reconciliation, reporting, and dashboards
• Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize asset usage
