Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Gurtz Electric Co. is seeking a motivated and people-focused Talent Acquisition Adviser to support the company’s recruiting and hiring efforts. This position will be responsible for identifying qualified office and union candidates, managing the recruitment process, coordinating interviews, and helping attract and retain talented individuals who align with the company’s needs and culture. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable building relationships with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and external partners. Experience recruiting within the construction, electrical, or skilled trades industries is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting through candidate selection and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate qualifications. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified office and union candidates. Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, career fairs, trade schools, and other recruiting channels. Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings. Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide a positive candidate experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruiting records. Prepare and post job opportunities across appropriate recruiting platforms. Build relationships with local trade schools, workforce organizations, recruiting partners, and other community resources. Attend career fairs, hiring events, and other recruiting events to promote employment opportunities with Gurtz Electric Co. Assist with pre-employment requirements through the union and coordinate the transition from candidate selection to new hire onboarding. Track recruiting activity, open positions, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics. Assist with developing strategies to attract qualified candidates for skilled trade and office positions. Support employee referral and recruiting programs.Stay informed of recruiting trends and best practices. Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information. Perform other Human Resources and recruiting duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Experience recruiting for construction, electrical contracting, skilled trades, or other technical positions is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interviewing and candidate-screening skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, includingWordandExcel. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and leadership. Professional, positive, and approachable demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Willingness to travel locally for recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
