Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote
Compensation: $70,000–$85,000
Billable Requirement: 1,500 Hours Annually

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized litigation law firm is seeking two experienced Litigation Paralegals to join its Boston office.

This is an excellent opportunity for career paralegals who enjoy substantive litigation work and want to join an established national firm with a collaborative, respectful culture. The firm represents major corporations, national brands, and privately held businesses in sophisticated litigation matters throughout the United States.

The successful candidates will work closely with attorneys on both local and national litigation matters and will have significant responsibility for managing cases from discovery through trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage litigation matters and maintain organized case files
• Support local and national litigation accounts throughout Massachusetts
• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
• Review, analyze, prepare, and respond to discovery requests
• Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Coordinate and assist with depositions
• Prepare witnesses and materials for depositions and trial
• Organize and analyze medical records, case documents, discovery materials, and other evidence
• Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support as needed
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and outside vendors
• Manage deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
• Maintain accurate and timely billable-hour records

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications

• 5+ years of defense litigation paralegal experience required
• Significant experience supporting complex civil litigation matters
• Experience with general liability, product liability, toxic tort, environmental liability, or other complex defense litigation strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Experience managing multiple cases and competing deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other legal professionals
• Excellent organizational and case-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex case materials
• Comfortable working in a billable-hour environment
• Ability to meet an annual 1,500-hour billable requirement

The firm is specifically seeking career paralegals interested in building a long-term career within the paralegal profession . Candidates currently attending law school or actively planning to attend law school are not the target profile for these positions.

While 5+ years of relevant experience is required, candidates with 10, 15, or 20+ years of litigation paralegal experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience
