Maintenance Technician Lvl II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lvl II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Lvl II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Lvl II

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range:

Shift: Evenings (06:00-18:00)

What's the Job?

• Maintain operational status of plant production systems through routine inspections and repairs
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on machinery and equipment
• Coordinate repairs with Maintenance Technicians or vendors as necessary
• Assist in preventative maintenance activities to reduce downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals to execute maintenance tasks effectively

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing or technical environment
• Technical degree or equivalent experience in machine troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration (NH3), Boiler, and HVAC systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read technical documents
• Ability to work an alternative work schedule and shifts, maintaining records and keeping work areas organized
