Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Site Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation administration profitability and quality assurance of uniformed services for a clients site.

Pay Rate: $19.46 / Hour

Sunday through Thursday

• Security Experience (C112):
  Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

• Supervisory Experience (C136):
  Candidates should possess supervisory experience showcasing their ability to lead and manage a team. This experience is essential for roles that require oversight of personnel and operations.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Familiarity with access control systems and badge management is required. Candidates should have experience in managing access to secure areas and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications manage electronic communications and utilize digital tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should have experience in interacting with clients or customers addressing their needs and providing exceptional service.

• • The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees monitoring security systems and responding to security incidents.
  • A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:
  • Hiring and training
  • Interviewing hiring and training security staff including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches drug and alcohol procedures and safety and security topics.
  • Scheduling
  • Overseeing the daily workflow schedules and assignments of security staff.
  • Performance monitoring
  • Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.
  • Incident response
  • Responding to incidents monitoring CCTV and security systems and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.
  • Liaison
  • Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.
  • Policies and procedures
  • Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.
  • Record keeping
  • Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.
  • Training programs
  • Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Continuous training
  • Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing scheduling and on-site training all Allied Universal. personnel assigned to his/her site)
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
• Perform other operations and related functions (e.g. payroll review and maintain incident reports assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
• Respond to client requests
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Service in the active-duty military military reserves or National Guard
• Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
• Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associates degree or higher in any discipline
• Be at least 18 years of age or higher if required by the state (21 years if armed)
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors

• Meets basic qualifications for Custom Protection Officer
