Location: Mattoon

Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
12-Hour Shifts | No On-Call | No Weekend Requirement

Position Overview

A highly respected non-profit healthcare system in Illinois is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its Med-Surg unit. This role is ideal for RNs who are passionate about patient-centered care and thrive in a collaborative acute care environment.

The RN will provide clinical leadership, coordinate patient care activities, and deliver high-quality nursing care while working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Coordinate patient assignments and support continuity of care
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to physicians
• Supervise and support healthcare team members during assigned shifts
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety standards
• Promote teamwork, communication, and quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License required
• ADN required (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Med-Surg experience strongly preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire
