Work Environment

The work setting is our modern outpatient office, equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and tools designed to support effective treatment. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physiatrists, occupational therapists, and aides, in a positive and motivating atmosphere. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a balanced work-life dynamic for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough movement evaluations of patients, assessing their physical abilities and limitations to inform personalized therapy plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment regimens that prioritize patient goals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities that have shown success in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment strategies based on performance, feedback, and recovery milestones.
• Educate patients and their families about specific exercises, wellness strategies, and home programs designed to promote long-term mobility and overall health.
• Engage in regular collaboration with the healthcare team to discuss patient outcomes and refine treatment plans based on a multidisciplinary approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from postoperative conditions, athletic injuries, and mobility impairments arising from chronic ailments. In this role, you will leverage your skills to work with a diverse range of age groups and physical capabilities, ensuring that every patient receives customized care tailored to their unique needs and therapy goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active California Physical Therapy (PT) license or the eligibility to obtain one prior to employment.
• Ability to perform thorough assessments and develop patient-centric rehabilitation goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to building rapport with patients and fostering positive treatment experiences.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems that facilitate patient tracking and documentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of new therapeutic trends and methodologies in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
