Interim Sr. Accountant

Interim Senior Accountant Our client, a high-growth technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations during a period of continued growth and process development.

This role is remote-eligible, though a hybrid arrangement in San Francisco and availability during Pacific Time business hours are highly preferred.

This role has an anticipated duration of approximately three months.

Responsibilities: Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with day-to-day transactional and operational accounting activities Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Support financial reporting, account analysis, and other recurring accounting deliverables Investigate accounting discrepancies and help resolve outstanding or historical issues Partner with finance leadership and external stakeholders to complete deliverables on schedule Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as business needs evolve Requirements: 4+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S.

GAAP, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes Experience with ERP or cloud-based accounting systems in a high-growth environment Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to process improvements; CPA or public accounting experience is a plus Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.
