Behavioral Health Services of VA seeks a Crisis Counselor (QMHP) to provide community-based and outpatient crisis intervention to children, adolescents, and adults across Central Virginia. In this client-centered, collaborative environment, you will complete assessments, safety plans, and provide evidence-based counseling to stabilize crises and improve emotional, social, and family functioning. You’ll coordinate care with families, schools, and providers, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in supervision and team consultation while gaining diverse clinical experience and advancing your skills.
