Clerical Assistant 2 Position
As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Department of Human Services, you will help keep important programs running smoothly at Wernersville State Hospital. This role supports active treatment services through detailed scheduling and communication in the Social Rehab Program. This position supports the active treatment programming at Wernersville State Hospital by managing clerical tasks that keep operations organized and updated. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Coordination: Coordinate and update consumer active treatment programming in the Electronic Health Record
- Schedule Updates: Communicate daily program data to reflect changes in schedules and operations
- Staff Communication: Provide program information to treatment center staff and living areas as needed
- Supply Management: Order supplies and maintain the supply room to support uninterrupted services
- Schedule Support: Complete TAS work schedules and assist with performance documentation
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve scheduling conflicts under the direction of TAS leadership
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
