Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN for a general medical observation unit, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and comfort with Bi-Pap and high flow O2.

Details

Work on a 21-bed general medical observation unit (4 West)
Patient population includes COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTI cases
Requires comfort managing Bi-Pap and high flow O2 therapy
Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required
Floating within scope to similar units may be required
No on-call requirements
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility, no exceptions
Local candidates not accepted
RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
