Marketing Coordinator - Strategic Growth Team (Federal Programs)

WSP is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator in any U.S. city where WSP has an office (including—but not limited to—Kansas City, Denver, Seattle, Boise, Washington, DC, Baltimore, and many more) to join our Strategic Growth Team (SGT)—a best in class, multi disciplinary marketing, sales, and business development organization supporting our Federal Programs business across the United States. The Federal Programs business line (BL) collaborates closely with WSP’s other business lines and markets to position, pursue, and secure federal contracts. The BL delivers mission critical infrastructure and advisory services for U.S. government clients across defense and civilian agencies nationwide and around the world. Your Impact Leads standard proposals/qualifications with limited supervision and supports complex proposals/qualifications with general supervision including scheduling and conducting proposal kick-off meetings, strategy sessions, and color reviews to develop a winning, compliant proposal Researches, gathers, edits, and produces proposal materials, including reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance, and key messages Coordinates design and production of proposal materials with graphics staff ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit Develops and maintains proposal, qualification, and sales files, including resumes, project descriptions and sales and business development databases Supports client teams in preparing materials for internal and external meetings and participates in client team meetings May support communications team on regional activities, such as newsletters, project awards, visibility and social media campaigns, conferences and other special communications-related projects Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other sales and business development materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner Supports and may lead the presentation phase of pursuits including coordinating graphics and refining key messages Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP Organizes and may facilitate sales and business development strategy meetings Embraces technology and looks for ways to increase effectiveness of sales and business development activities and client engagement May provide oversight of work of other team members Other duties as assigned Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of applicable of experience 3+ years of experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in editing, proofing and general sales and business development skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (primarily InDesign), SharePoint, and other software programs Strong organizational and coordination skills along with liaison capabilities and knowledge of business development procedures is required Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines Must have knowledge of procedures necessary to manage a standard proposal from onset to conclusion with limited supervision Ability to facilitate meetings Must possess a strategic mindset Benefits WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. Compensation Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $65,300.00 - $111,980.00 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law. Expected Salary (Colorado only): $65,300.00 - $105,160.00 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
