CNC Operator 3rd Shift

This will require an individual who is highly detail oriented as well as has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. You'll work to refine and shape high-quality quartz stone with a strong commitment to safety and quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reading blueprints, loading raw materials, supervising the automated cutting process, and performing quality inspections to ensure all quartz stone meet exact design specifications and tolerancesLoad and edit machine programsSetup, operate, monitor and maintain CNC machine in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Operate an overhead crane or vacuum lift throughout your shift to place slab partials on CNC tableComplete daily safety inspections of all equipment before useOrganize, maintain and keep work area free of clutterPerform job duties safely as outlined in Cambria Core Safety RulesVisually inspect CNC equipment and tooling consistently for proper functionalityRead; analyze and interpret technical procedures for machineUse measuring equipment and verify each part before and after machiningCommunicate and troubleshoot within your area and between other areas of the shop as needed to leadershipCross-train on multiple types of equipmentPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or ManagementQualifications and Skills:Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications with precision to ensure high-quality output.Committed to maintaining high production standards and adhering to company quality control procedures.Strong aptitude of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.Ability to use basic measuring equipmentBasic computer, math and critical thinking skillsMinimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience:1-2+ years in machining is preferred but not requiredPost-secondary education in machining preferredSystems: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD is preferred.Cambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbs and push loaded carts to machines or next fabrication departmentStand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 10 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesBend over multiple times and step up to machine table throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing ProtectionSafety glassesCut-proof glovesCambria's starting hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 . Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
