Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire or transfer
- Six months previous critical care experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients in a critical care setting.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy, including blood products.
- Interpret ECG rhythms and manage patients during life-threatening emergencies.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients requiring advanced monitoring techniques.

Compliance / Notes:
- Call is rare.
- Must obtain TNCC certification before the set start date if not already certified.
