Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire or transfer
• Six months previous critical care experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients in a critical care setting.
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy, including blood products.
• Interpret ECG rhythms and manage patients during life-threatening emergencies.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients requiring advanced monitoring techniques.

Compliance / Notes:

• Call is rare.
• Must obtain TNCC certification before the set start date if not already certified.
