Make an immediate impact in students’ lives as a Dyslexia Therapist specializing in reading support at both the elementary and high school levels. This contract opportunity runs through the academic year and offers the chance to provide critical intervention and advocacy for learners at two vibrant campuses. Dive into a rewarding, onsite role collaborating closely with educators and staff to help students unlock their full literacy potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current General Teaching Endorsement
- One of the following additional credentials:
• Reading Endorsement
• Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
• Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP) - Demonstrated success supporting students with literacy challenges, especially those with dyslexia
- Strong ability to assess, create, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teams across elementary and high school environments
- A passion for student progress and a commitment to evidence-based practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted dyslexia therapy and reading specialist services to students across two campus settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop literacy strategies and accommodation plans
- Interpret assessment data to identify student needs and measure growth
- Document interventions and maintain compliance with all program guidelines
- Engage with families to foster open communication and student advocacy
- Stay current on the latest research and practices in reading intervention and dyslexia support
