Customer Service Rep The Customer Service Representative performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties which require a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. The Customer Service Representative also resolves administrative problems and inquiries; composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence and reports, deals with customers on a regular basis to resolve any issues or questions they may have. Essential Duties: Performs a variety of administrative functions. Answers phone calls Schedules appointments, gives information to customers Dealing with customers on a regular basis to ensure quality service, following up with resolutions to any issues they have, maintaining professionalism throughout difficult circumstances that may occur. Sorts, screens, reviews, and distributes incoming and outgoing email; composes, prepares, or ensures timely responses to a variety of routine written inquiries. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. 1+ year experience in a Customer Service position. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports. Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written. Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
