Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Assigned shifts as scheduled; no block scheduling available. 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary support during night shift.

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor serving a diverse and critical patient population
• Patient mix includes surgical cases, trauma patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegics, and paraplegics
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Collaborative care environment with nursing support staff, phlebotomists, and dedicated unit secretaries
• Structured handoff process with ED and admitting unit nurses to ensure continuity of care
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery or trauma specialty nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts; no requested time off during contract period
