Director of Finance

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Partner to serve as a key finance leader and trusted advisor to ownership. This individual will oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, treasury, cash management, lender relationships, and operational finance across a growing multi-site platform.This is an opportunity for a high-impact finance executive who thrives in entrepreneurial, high-growth environments and can help build scalable infrastructure, support acquisitions, and drive operational performance across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisLead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, executive reporting, and financial dashboardsDevelop reporting tools and analytics to support strategic decision-making and operational visibilityOperational Finance & Business PartnershipPartner closely with operations, HR, marketing, and business leaders to align financial performance with company goalsSupport pricing strategy, workforce planning, forecasting, and other operational initiatives that drive growth and profitabilityTranslate financial data into actionable business insights for leadershipInvestor & Lender ReportingPrepare and deliver timely and accurate reporting packages for lenders and stakeholdersManage covenant compliance, reporting requirements, and financial communications with external partnersAcquisitions & Strategic GrowthSupport acquisition and transaction activity, including financial modeling, underwriting, diligence coordination, and integration effortsPartner with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycleAssist with post-acquisition integration and performance trackingAccounting & Financial OperationsOversee all accounting and financial operations, including financial statement preparation, internal controls, AP, AR, payroll, tax filings, and compliance activitiesLead and develop the accounting and finance team while building scalable processes and controlsEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reportingTreasury & Cash ManagementLead treasury and cash management functions, including liquidity planning, forecasting, and working capital optimizationOversee short and long-term cash forecasting and capital planning initiativesCandidate ProfileBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fieldMBA, CPA, and/or CFA preferred10+ years of progressive finance leadership experiencePrior experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leaderStrong background in FP&A, operational finance, treasury, reporting, and accounting operationsExperience in private equity-backed, founder-led, multi-site, or high-growth organizations preferredM&A, integration, and transaction experience strongly preferredEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership, communication, and execution capabilitiesPreferred BackgroundExperience supporting multi-site education, healthcare, services, or field operations environments preferredExperience leading finance transformation initiatives, process improvement efforts, or ERP implementations is a plusComfortable operating in an evolving, growth-oriented organization with significant executive visibilityLocationTri-State New York Metro Area preferredCompensation$200K–$250K Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Significant Equity Opportunity
