Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be engaged in creating resin-based products supplied to the mining industry. These products consist of tubes that resemble sausage casings and contain chemicals that harden into a concrete-like substance. The tubes vary in length from 6 inches to 5 feet and have a diameter of about an inch.

Responsibilities

• Packaging: Arrange packaged materials onto pallets in a specific order and shape. This fast-paced role may involve lifting up to 50lbs, although lift assists are available for most products.
• Quality: Conduct visual inspections and ensure that the length and diameter of the tubes are within tolerance. Each piece is checked before being fed into the packaging machine.
• ILU Operator: Operate machines requiring problem-solving skills to adjust temperature, pressure, and speed for optimal product consistency. This role takes 3-6 months to learn and involves active participation during initial runs to ensure quality.
• Mixer: Operate mixing equipment as part of the production process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
