Territory Sales Manager – South Texas

Territory: South Texas, including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and areas south of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Position Overview

American AVK is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to develop and expand our market presence throughout South Texas.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, and expanding sales throughout an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, municipalities, water utilities, contractors, and engineering firms.
• Conduct regular in-person sales calls throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Establish and strengthen distributor partnerships to increase market penetration.
• Conduct hands-on product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
• Work closely with distributors and customers to promote American AVK products and increase sales.
• Represent American AVK professionally throughout the assigned territory.

Ideal Candidate – Experience & Qualifications

American AVK is seeking an experienced, self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of developing customer relationships and growing sales territories.

Prior outside sales experience in the waterworks, municipal water, fire protection, industrial, or related distribution industries is strongly preferred. Candidates with established relationships among waterworks distributors, municipalities, water utilities, contractors, and engineering firms are especially encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to work independently, and a demonstrated commitment to developing new business opportunities while supporting existing customers.

This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned South Texas territory, including overnight travel approximately 2–3 nights per week to conduct customer sales calls, develop distributor relationships, and support territory growth.

Candidates should preferably reside in the Houston, Austin, or San Antonio metropolitan areas.
