Advance Staffing, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor for an immediate opportunity in Union City, CA.

The Food Service Supervisor provides on-site oversight and supports management in coordinating the daily activities of employees engaged in food operations and services. This position helps ensure that daily operations run efficiently, employees understand their responsibilities, and established food service, safety, sanitation, and customer service standards are followed.

The ideal candidate has previous supervisory experience in the food service or hospitality industry , strong communication skills, and the ability to lead employees in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide day-to-day oversight and direction to food service employees.
• Coordinate routine work activities and help ensure appropriate workflow and coverage.
• Support management with the daily oversight of key operational functions and employees.
• Assign tasks and communicate daily priorities to team members.
• Monitor employee performance and provide guidance when needed.
• Help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Ensure employees follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with resolving routine operational or customer service concerns.
• Communicate staffing, performance, safety, or operational concerns to management.
• Help create a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience required .
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, dining, catering, or a related environment .
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable providing direction to employees.
• Ability to work effectively with both employees and management.
• Open and flexible availability to work mornings, midday, and afternoon shifts.
• Must be available to start as soon as possible .
