Sr. Account Manager

Location: Fremont, CA (Remote considered)

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives in complexity, thinks strategically, and knows how to turn relationships into lasting business impact. This is a high-impact role where you will lead major customer engagements, shape deal strategy, and help drive revenue growth across key accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow strategic customer relationships, managing the full lifecycle from early engagement through deal execution and expansion
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, developing winning strategies in competitive environments
  • Partner cross-functionally (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to deliver high-quality proposals and commercial solutions
  • Structure, negotiate, and close large, sophisticated deals that align customer needs with Nextpower's capabilities
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify new opportunities and expand long-term partnerships
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM data hygiene
  • Conduct customer business reviews and act as a trusted advisor on market trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Manage a team of Sales Analysts/Associates to support our customers

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive to win
  • Your work requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications.
  • You exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • You are accountable for results, which may impact your entire function.
  • You create formal networks involving coordination among groups.
  • You focus on providing thought leadership and work on broader organization projects, which requires understanding of wider business.
  • You are required to convey advanced information and to persuade several diverse stakeholders/audiences.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in complex B2B sales (energy or infrastructure preferred)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel (~35% or as needed)

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is 140,000.00 to 160,000.00 plus a commission structure based on commission calculation, such as percentage of sales or specific metrics.(Applicable to California)
