Reporting directly into the CEO of the US business with a dotted line into Group HYBRID role with 3 days per week in office. About Our Client Our client is a global manufacturing and industrial solutions provider, operating within a specialized, highly engineered product landscape. Generating $100M+ in revenue across the Americas and supported by an international parent company, the organization integrates production, commercial operations, and aftermarket services to deliver sustained value to its customer base. The Americas business is a key strategic region with an established presence and continued commercial growth. As a result, the company is looking to appoint a Director of Finance to enhance financial leadership, improve transparency into performance, and help guide the organization through its next stage of expansion. This role required a presence in the office at least 3 days/ week (non-negotiable). Job Description Partnering closely with the U.S. CEO and maintaining a functional reporting line to the global finance leadership team, the Director of Finance will act as the senior financial lead across the Americas region. This individual will play a critical role as a trusted advisor to the executive team, taking full responsibility for overseeing the North American finance function and managing a team of approximately 8 professionals. The position will focus on elevating financial performance, enhancing oversight, and enabling well-informed strategic and operational decision making. Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing and evolving the regional finance organization to drive greater efficiency, accountability, and alignment Working in close collaboration with the CEO to provide insight, guidance, and constructive challenge on key business decisions Leading all aspects of financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance analysis across manufacturing, commercial, and service operations Enhancing the visibility and quality of financial and operational KPIs to support data driven decision making Driving initiatives focused on cost optimization and margin expansion throughout the organization Ensuring strong financial governance, controls, and compliance in line with both local and global requirements Serving as the main point of contact with the global finance team, delivering timely and accurate reporting Supporting transformation efforts and fostering a more forward looking, analytics driven finance culture Successful Applicant In return for a competitive remuneration package the successful candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's degree CPA - ideal 15+ years of a manufacturing experience from a finance/ accounting perspective Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO Extensive experience supporting both operational and commercial functions, including sales and service models Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement, cost control, and financial discipline Experience operating within an international reporting structure and working closely with Group Finance Hands on, proactive, and solutions oriented mindset Ability to work in office, in Lexington, SC at least 3 days/ week.
