About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. License: Current and valid state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG/Telemetry test required. Must-Have: - Med/Surg Telemetry experience, including pacemakers and IV insulin protocols. - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. - Willingness to accommodate scheduling needs and flexibility with weekend coverage. Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The shift will be a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The nursing staff will provide care to adults and geriatric patients. This role will involve managing telemetry and monitoring vital signs. Nurses will be responsible for continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and blood product administration. The position requires good judgment and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias. Knowledge of IV insulin protocols and managing electronic health records is essential. Nurses will support interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and rapid response teams. The facility provides a variety of services and equipment to support patient care. Candidates must have experience in managing feeds and patient mobility. All nursing practices must adhere to safety guidelines and best practice standards. Willingness to float and assist in other nursing roles as needed is required.
