Utility bill in the traveler's name must have a matching address within the last three months of the projected start date. The address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. Years of experience required is 2 years. First-time travelers are accepted. Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry is required. Certifications required include BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS. The clinician must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Floating may include other facilities if required. No local candidates are accepted. Candidates must not have any license hits for eligibility. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. All submissions must include two supervisory references. Modules may be required as part of orientation and vary by specialty. All clinical module hours are non-billable. Daily census is typically 24 patients. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Nursing ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:6 at night. Charting is performed using Epic. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare services. Patient diagnoses include neuro, stroke, and surgical cases. Willingness to float to a maximum of 75 miles is required. Any gaps in the traveler's profile must be explained in the work history. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year separation from previous employment with the agency to be eligible for submission.
