Sr. Program Manager

Job Summary The Senior Program Manager leads cross‑functional teams to deliver new or existing products, aligning schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct budget analysis, labor planning, and coordinate activities across all departments. Serve as mediator for internal issues and conflicting priorities. Monitor and drive project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. Develop and implement activities to meet goals, quality, and cost objectives. Lead and develop personnel; create schedules and manpower requirements. Prioritize schedules based on customer requirements and multiple factors. Plan, administer procedures, and manage budgets. Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Determine critical methods and procedures for new assignments; coordinate activities of other personnel. Oversee program activities such as order entry, material procurement, scheduling builds, test monitoring, and quality follow‑downs. Manage government contracts and computer‑based systems line items. Generate recovery plans, assess status and risk, and meet customer expectations. Support new business proposals and improve production efficiency. Develop, plan, and administer procedures; recommend changes to policies. Coordinate, develop, and implement standard operating procedures. Prepare project status reports, budgets, and summaries. Resolve problems and provide solutions to obstacles. Interact with senior management on operational and strategic matters. Maintain daily availability, including evenings and weekends, to meet goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field. Minimum 15 years of directly related experience or equivalent education/experience in project management. PMP certification is a plus. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to interpret technical documents, business and government regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project) and ERP/MRP software. US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
